The Art

Color, light, temperature, sound, and movement all impact the way we perceive a moment. While color and light are represented innately in paint, the other components of an experience can be communicated when the brushstrokes and painterly qualities the artist creates interact with the imagination and memories of the viewer.

My artwork is inspired by the places I have been and people and things I have seen. I use the paint to recreate an idea of the emotions that might be felt in a specific moment.
